Booking an initial consultation
Once you’ve settled upon a specialist, you can book your initial appointment at a time and place that suits you by exploring their calendar availability. Therapists and coaches tend to offer free initial consultations, so you can explore whether you envisage working with them long-term. Paying for your appointment
Every practitioner has their separate fees which are displayed on their website. For therapists, these start from £40, while for psychiatrists they start from £250 for a 1-hour consultation, with lower fees for follow-up appointments.
